Insurance

You can arrange insurance coverage to cover your Fio banka payment cards. Choose from travel insurance, card fraud insurance or legal costs insurance coverage. Insurance coverage corresponds to the validity of the card itself and the insurance will automatically continue when a new card is issued, so long as the client does not cancel the insurance.

How to get it?

It's easy and fast online, either on a computer or mobile. With our applications, you also have an overview of what kind of insurance you have and for how long. You can also edit it, cancel it or switch to another option.

In Internetbanking, you can order the service in Card details or under the +New product option (top right).
You can easily click on the insurance in the Smartbanking mobile application (section Cards > Settings).
You can also solve everything in person at our branches.

Family travel insurance

This travel insurance is intended for travel abroad.

The time restriction for one such trip covered by the travel insurance is 90 days.

This coverage extends to the insured individual's family members who travel with the insured cardholder (spouse and children up to age 18).

Luggage insurance,
Casualty insurance.

	This insurance covers tourist and business trips as well as trips connected with targeted recreational activities of common recreational sports. Confirmation of travel insurance

For common needs when traveling abroad, you only need a travel insurance card, where you can find the phone number and contract number needed to report an insurance event.

If an insurance certificate is required when applying for a visa, you can request it through the Fio service. If you wish to include co-insured persons on the certificate, please let us know their names and dates of birth. Also contact us if you have special requirements e.g. about confirmation of liability insurance, indication of insurance limits, etc. The confirmation is made by the insurance company free of charge and is sent to you by e-mail within a few days.

Fraud insurance

This insurance is used to protect against fraud caused by the loss or theft and subsequent misuse of your payment card, the theft of cash and to insure against the loss or theft of keys, personal documents, wallets and mobile phones that are lost or stolen at the same time as the covered payment card.
